Keel Club Appreciation Time

Wow! What a year!
Twelve months ago, I was just beginning to share my dream of voyaging from Tokyo to Nemo North and beyond to Vancouver. The plan then, was to get a boat sometime in 2020. But, things happened much more quickly and I took possession of SV Wahine
half way through 2019.
I could not have done this without the Keel Club
members.
Recently, it was my honor to welcome one of the members, Tokyo Super Cars, on board (I hope it will be the first of many times). In fact, it was a double treat for me because, not only are they Keel Club Members, but they were also redeeming a prize they had paid $2500 USD for at the Tokyo HOPE Dinner and Auction. The prize was a Two-Hour Champagne and Canapes Cruise
on SV Wahine. 100% of the proceeds went to HOPE to help with our Clean Water Programs in Cambodia and Ethiopia.
The Champagne was sponsored by Iconic Wines
and the Canapes by Tony Torres of Back2Brooklyn.
Thanks to all of my Keel Club Members who have helped in the purchase of SV Wahine
which put wind my sail and the Pacific Solo challenge.
